Arthur de Laforcade is a French graffiti writer from Paris who started painting walls in 1996 then trains and subway until he had to leave to Cotonou, Benin in 2010 where he kept improving his skills, working in mural decoration, illustration, created a graffiti crew named 2400 that became a rap music video company but also collaborated for a couple years with the Zinsou foundation doing their exhibition communication, scenography and teaching local kids street art. In 2015 he went back to Paris for a year then flew for a job in Singapore which lead him to Malaysia , Thailand then Vietnam where he started some canvas production with Jerome Peschard at the mix and paint venue in HoChiMinh City. First with acrylic and spraycan then with oil painting taking some inspiration from the places and stories he has been through. From Vietnam he moved to Manilla in the Philippines doing big wall collaborations and large scale canvas and ended in Brisbane Australia in 2019 till 2020 where the COVID pushed him back a couple years in France before coming back definitely in Brisbane in 2023 where he now lives and work as a solo painting artist and art teacher.
